Hello,

I got the NVC # AND INVOICE #. I checked the status on the website and it says ready(Your case is ready for you to schedule an interview at the U.S. Consulate General in Montreal. If you have already scheduled an interview appointment, please prepare your documents as directed in your appointment letter and appear at the Consulate on the appointed date and time. Otherwise, please wait until you have been notified of your interview appointment.)

What should I do next?? I did not get any letter yet?? What forms should I collect and fill??

Thanks in advance for the help!

Just gotta wait till you get a package in the mail. :)))) If its possible, I would suggest doing your medical. At least gather all your documents together and try requesting your police certificates. Not sure if its required in the Canadian embassies as well, but if you've lived in multiple countries you may need a police certificate for anywhere you've lived in for longer than 6 months.

Actually, a trial will convince you. What I did was that I emailed the consulate, and asked if they've received our package? Make sure you put your information like case number, petitioner"s name, beneficiary"s name, and I was sent the package 3 in my personal e-mail. Right now get the affidavit of support forms ready, your original birth cert, original approval notice, and more ongoing communication evidences if any and if.luckily the packet 3 is sent, just tell your beneficiary to.follow the instructions promptly,goodluck...

At this stage in the process, almost all of the countries/embassies handle things differently. It's best to contact the embassy directly to get clear answers. Or go to their website. If you research your area/embassy here on Visa Journey you might find some answers there as well.
