Hi all,

I think I may have had a bit of a blunder and wonder if anyone could help me out here...

Having got all my documents ready beforehand, upon getting my case number by calling the NVC on September 23rd, I immediately submitted both my DS-160 and my Applicant Readiness form. In my haste, I hadn't noticed that the embassy instructions are that the Applicant Readiness form shouldn't have been submitted until I had received confirmation that the embassy in London had my case.

I have since had my medical (October 6th) and the date on my CEAC status was updated under the 'Ready' heading several times prior to this, and most recently on October 13th which I assume was them receiving my medical results.

I'm wondering if I should re-submit my readiness form since I previously submitted it prior to the embassy having my case in hand... I realise I'm probably being over anxious about this but any advice/insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

From my understanding of the guide in this forum as well as what a few of the other London filers who have already posted, you should not have to submit another readiness form. Since you called and received your LND # in advance you should be good to go. Your LND # does not change once it's assigned. They are able to match up all the information using that number.

The only time I have seen anyone say to submit a new readiness form is if some of the information provided on the first form was incorrect. If all the info you provide on your first form was right, you should be okay.

I am sure someone who has submitted before will respond as well to help confirm for you!

Congrats!!! You are almost there!!!

Thanks so much for your reply! What you say makes total sense and has eased my mind a little bit. This last bit seems to be the most agonising!! Thanks again :)

I think you'll be fine.

There are a couple of us who have had medicals around the same date as you (mine was on the 2nd October) and our CEAC status' all updated on the 13th October. Hopefully a batch of letters will go out soon and we'll all be getting our interview dates!

Thank you! Keep me up to date with your process, I'm guessing I'm only a few days behind you. Although there seems to be no rhyme or reason in this process.

I emailed the embassy last night and they have told me my interview is scheduled for November 12th!

'6yearslater' had hers scheduled for November 9th with a medical on October 2nd so it may be worth emailing the embassy and asking if they have an appointment date yet!

Good luck!

Use the contact form located here:

http://london.usembassy.gov/iv/contact_us.html

Response times vary hugely. I have used it 3 times, once I got a reply in under 30 minutes, once I got a reply in 9 days and last night I got a reply in about 12 hours!

Good luck to you.
