I'm applying for K1 and im done with my interview.I'm really worried now after 15 days i still haven't received my visa. I called the embassy and they are still reviewing it! I thought the interview is the final process. What's taking them so long to release my visa? After the interview they didn't ask for anything and I saw approved attached to my files. Are any of you guys have the same situation as mine. Is this normal? I hope you could give me some advice how to receive my visa asap.

I think that they would be running the AP on it right now. Sometimes they seem to pre-approve stuff but they run it through the security checks afterwards...

Yes I am going thru the same thing. My interview at Montreal was just like yours no problems visa was approved and I was told I would get it the following next week. When it did not arrive I contacted them on the phone and was told to wait a few days. Then I emailed them after a few days and was told they are still working on my case and it will take atleast 2 weeks minimum. I am assuming this is what they called Security Clearance Checks. I know what you are going thru trust me the wait is terrible when youve almost gone thru the whole ordeal, I guess for now the only thing we can do is to wait untill they reply back in writing with more instructions/explanation. Or hopefully they will just send back the passports with the visa included. Goodluck with everything.

When she checked about to pay for her visa delivery was given a extra paper (pink) with requirements ask for more items needed too approval your case?

We are in the same situation as you, they didn't ask for anything only saying that they will review our case for so called normal checks for our case. We was told when I called that it will take 4 to 6 weeks to complete the checks. It has been over a month now for us!
