Hello! I did a K-1 visa for my fiancé he went to the interview October 7th. They asked him to get a translated copy of his police report and issued him a 221g regusal which is "undecided " from what the CO told my fiancé until he returned the documents. He got the document translated and sent it back to the consulate in Jerusalem the next day. Can you tell me how long until he gets an answer since the requested document has been sent back ?

Is your case in AP?

my freind had to produce IRS transcript to embassy in Morocco (June 2014)

He did / he is still in AP

unfornunately he is only friend on here and i have not seen the documents or know if they are acceptable ones

perhaps email the embassy and tell them you submitted the documents and asking about the process and the next steps / try to keep your case in the embassy and not returned to USCIS in the states

Sorry what is A/P?

The CO said "bring the police report back and I will make the decision or send it to homeland security"

This is what it says online : Please see the letter you received at your interview for more information.

Should I still email the consulate ?

I thought you just request the Police Report to be sent directly to the Consulate? Is this what you did?

Was the police report in another language BESIDES English, Hebrew, or Arabic?

Also, was this police report the "Mirsham Plili" that you needed to get translated? A document that you can just get by walking into a police station and requesting? Or was this the police report that is automatically sent to the consulate without you seeing it first?

He did go to the police station and have it sent, but she wanted his court papers which he had and they were in Hebrew. She said that only birth certificates and passports don't need to be translated (although the checklist didn't specify that). Any how I'm updating online everyday and it said updated yesterday but still says refused and the same refusal Note "see paper given at interview" nothing was updated but the date. Does this mean they read the court paper and still Denied it? This is very frustrating they also have his passport

Hmm I am not sure because we aren't there yet. My fiance also is submitting court records, but we had them translated from Hebrew into English.

In my packet 3 it says under the "Prison/Court Records" section (with more details): "COURT AND PRISON RECORDS: If you have ever been convicted of a crime, you must obtain a certified copy

of each court and prison record (court disposition) even if you have been granted amnesty or pardoned in
any way. If applicable, you must also provide a certified English translation of the court records."
What I think is unclear is what they mean by "if applicable" -- how do you know if it's applicable? I guess if they aren't in English then they need to be put in English? I assume they need to be in English for multiple reasons, especially if you will eventually file for AOS in the US.
