On the list from up top it says:

• Td or Tdap - Tetanus/diptheria/pertussis or get DT, DTP or DtaP and it will be accepted for AOS also. The latest shot must be no longer than 10 years ago or you need a booster. If you have a record of receiving pertussis, then the Td is okay for the booster.
• MMR - (if born in 1957 or later)-Mumps/measles/rubella. It's two doses in your life, but if you get the first dose, and 4 weeks haven't passed by your medical, they will waive the second dose for "insufficient time interval". If you only had one dose as a child, get a second one before the medical.
• Varicella - Not routinely given in the UK . A history of having chickenpox excuses you from the shot. They take your word for it at the visa medical exam.
• Influenza – Required during flu season only, October 1 through March 31. This was a new recommendation dated November 2010 for all ages over 6 months. Older lists will say flu shots for over age 50. It changed. The list on the London embassy website is out of date since 2009. Don’t follow it.

But I thought that We were supposed to have hep A & B too? Am I wrong?? I don't want to pay £120 for hepB if I don't need it as I already have to pay £81 for my daughter to get it as she needs it to enroll at school in our school county.

Dtap and Hep A is free (when they have someone in to do it) but Hep B is not NHS, it is £40 a vaccine and 3 vaccines needed. Also £81 total for Hep B for my daughter from boots. Nhs won't do hep B for free.

Oh awesome, I already had both when I was 24 but I don't know if it's on my record. I just had my seasonal flu done and I know i need to get my Dtap up-to-date but apart from that I am good then.

You only get age appropriate shots. You don't have to show you had every baby shot on the list...just the ones for your current age group.

Ok, I'm getting a print out for the vaccinations so hopefully everything I need will be on my list. I know I have had it all just need to make sure and see if any need updating.

The question is shall I get the booster and flu done before my interview on the 29th October. If so, can any doctor/medical company write on the official state form (DS-3025) as Knightsbridge say they won't give me any more jabs.

Your form DS-3025 should be marked with with the appropriate waiver for "insufficient time interval" and "not flu season". You were as medically complete as possible on the day of the exam and got waivers. You're done. No more shots required.

FYI--nobody can add something to an official form like that. Once you leave Knightsbridge and your original DS-3025 is sent to the embassy, then no changing it. Anything new you wanted on your record would have to be signed off by paying a civil surgeon in the U.S.

You will need MMR and Td done before AOS. So you'll have to get it done when you are in the US now. Walmart does them as I saw on their website when I was comparing the prices between HepB for my daughter as she has to have it to enroll in school.

I understood it to say MMR and Td were needed so he had them given by Knightsbridge and those two are on the DS-3025. The question was about dose 2 of MMR which could not be given because there is a 4 week waiting period between shots. That one should have been marked with waiver code B. USCIS will accept and waive dose 2 of MMR. What about Varicella. did you remember to tell them you had chickenpox?

Thanks everybody for your answers, especially Nich-Nick who as usual is a goldmine of information, yes on the MMR they marked B and yes I told them I had chickenpox as a kid, so they marked Varicella history and D. So as you said before I'm dome, no more shots needed thanks again.

Oh right ok. Don't think it's as straight forward for my child unless the doctor wants to write me a letter stating she had chickenpox at 5 years old! But for me pretty sure I just need Dtap and thats it. I need to get a report on the other ones because I might end up getting hep B done anyway (don't want to end up getting it).. I think I just need a booster as I had it done before.
