Hehe, there's already a thread on this. I don't know how to link other message threads but this is the subject.

It's normal for Texas and Nebraska to forward cases to California. Don't know why. It happened to me too.

Texas and Neb. no longer handles i-12fs, unfortunately. Some would say going through CSC is a bad thing because they are the slowest.

TSC and NSC stopped processing visa applications a year ago to shift workloads at the service centers. They are all being transferred to CSC.

Before you ask.... the I-129F has not been revised because they don't know of the shift will be permanent.

8-30-05 Met David at a restaurant in Germany

3-28-06 David 'officially' proposed

4-26-06 I-129F mailed

9-25-06 Interview: APPROVED!

10-16-06 Flt to US, POE Detroit

11-5-06 Married

7-2-07 Green card received

9-12-08 Filed for divorce

12-5-08 Court hearing - divorce final

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

hello visa journey members! i am new to this site and i must say that it's such a blessing to read all the information available here. i've learned a lot, and it's been helpful to read what others have posted.

i also sent my i-129f to the nebraska service center, and was perplexed to learn that it had been sent on to california. i'm having a hard time coming to terms with the fact that the california service center is actually farther away from me than my foreign fiance! lol

thanks chad+lira. filing the petition wouldn't have been possible without visajourney!

by the way, i couldn't help but notice all the filipino beneficiaries. my mother is filipina and came to the states on a fiancee visa over 30 years ago. now that i am filing for my fiance she keeps "informing" me what steps i need to take...and then says, "it was much easier back in my day, ap-tar (after) nine-elebben (eleven) it got much harder." lol

happy reading !

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Hi Everyone:-)

My fiance also sent the petition to Nebraska Service Center as instructed in the I-129f. Ours was sent on 23rd of Feb 2007 via USPS. In the USPS receipt it shows: this item was delivered on 02/26/2007 at 11:03 AM in LINCOLN, NE 68501 to F HEINAUER. So upon reading the posts, i assume that ours will be processed at the CSC instead. Goodluck to us NSC filers. GOD bless everyone here :-)
