USCIS Processing Dates, I-129F HUH????

I just was curious and went to the USCIS site and checked processing dates.

Nebraska and Texas do not list the I-129F, but Vermont and California do. Is this an indication Texas and Nebraska are forwarding I-129F's elsewhere, or just not reporting times?

From reading VJ, I think applications filed at Nebraska and Texas get forwarded to California..

They no longer process the 129F petitions. They're forwarded to California, which once CSC receives your package all updates will be from them. I'm living in Florida, I had to send my petition to Texas which then forwards to California. I'm thinking to myself, ####### why not Vermont? Vermont is closer AND they have a much faster approval time which in my pea sized brain translates into a lower workload. Soooooo unless my perception of things is way off, why not realign things and have all 129F's from east of the Mississippi go to Vermont and all west of it go to California? Geesh.

hmmm, and my brain is going.. "Why in the world do they instruct you to send to Nebraska, so they can forward to California?" One more group of waiting on touches and postal service, that could be circumvented by the actual applicant mailing to the proper place to start with.

Oh well, at least it is has been received in Nebraska, and I can see the signature and confirmation on the USPS.Com.. so now time for waiting, and wondering, and watching the online bank statement to see when the check is caseh, and wait some more.. and...............

Makes you wonder if they actually think before making decisions, because as Jim&Gemz suggested why not split the case load evenly? That would make too much sense and this is the government people... silly of us to think logically. Just means a long wait for those of us not going through Vermont.

The transfer of responsibilities changed a little over a year ago now. I was an April NSC'er who was transferred to CSC.

lolz, So??? Am I officially for Timeline and Profile purposes an NSC or a CSC?

Also, am I figuring right using the FAQ and Timelines, and looking at other people's history.. Through the NSC/CSC I'm looking at between 6 to 8 months before Annie and I step off the plane in the USA?
