I am extremely nervous about the xray thing since I am a smoker too.. had pneumonia when I was 8 years old. I pray to God that I dont need the sputum exam.

When are you going to have your medical? Let us know the result :)

Hi Corpuz14, at the back of your slip they should have indicated the time for you to return. It doesn't matter if you go there early or not. It is not on first come first served basis. If you'll get your immunization, they will give it to you based on the time indicated in your slip.

I went there like 8 am on my second day and had my shots at 10 am...

Btw, you need to give your slip to the guard at the information desk so he can check which floor you should proceed. Good luck! :)

Hello,

Me and my one yr old son will have our medical tomorrow at st. Lukes, im planning on going there at around 3am. Can i fall in line for me and my son so that he wont have to wake up that very early? Or is he required to be in the line, too?

Thanks!

Hi Iamtintontan,

If you're checking in a hotel nearby,No need to go there that early. Me and my 2 yr old daughter fall in line at 5:45 am. They were starting to let people get in already although they open at 6. We had #37 and #38 but we were able to finish quarter to 9 on our first day. Having a child with you will work to your own advantage too.

Tip: You can bring another person with you. You just have to ask the guard. I was let in with my daughter and a friend with her 4 yr old son.

I recommend you check in a hotel like Hotel Soriente. It's just a 2 to 3-minute walk from St. LUkes. Plus you'll be zonked with the process and it would be nice to have a place to stay without having to travel very far specially that you have a 1 yr old child.

Good luck! :)

No, not for sputum. Was in hospital a few day last month. They ask certificate and want there doctor to follow up before they clear.

There absolutely no reason to arrive that early, aim for 4 hours later when the lines have cleared.

Now for the other thing to take note on, depending on the age of your son - Age 2-14 have to complete a TB skin test, SLEC recommends NOT coming for the medical on Thursday as SLEC is closed on weekends.

PREREGISTER at St. Luke's website, it saves time when you arrive.

There is no need to arrive any earlier then just before 6:15 am for your exam. SLEC is slower on Wednesday/Thursday/Friday because children need to be seen earlier in the week because of TB skin test. So if you want to avoid a lot of children then choose to go later in the week.

They request that applicants only show up for the appointment, all others will need to entertain themselves while waiting for their fiancé to finish their medical.

Many of your questions are answered or procedures are given, either at Hank's website or mine. See the links in the signature boxes at the end of the red arrows.
