Hi VJ,

I'm back again  because I get confuse with filing in I-765 EAD, my question is what will be the name that I will use to fill in the "Full Name", is it the name I have in passport and I-94 or should I put my married name on it because I already got married to a US Citizen before the 90 days for K1?

Thank you in advance and Godbless

From this point forward the only name you know is your new married name. Use it for all things new and renewed except where asked for maiden name. Follow the requirements for that block on any forms. Sometimes they asked for your name (now) and sometimes they will ask for maiden name. See the instructions for the document if you have any questions.

Use the Philippines naming nomenclature; your first name, Filipino family name for middle name (maiden name), and husband's last name for your new last name.

You put in your maiden name. once your married name is updated on your passport then you can start using it.

 You do not have to wait for your passport to be updated. Many have years left on their passport and wish not to update until they have to. They just need to travel with their current passport their MC. To buy a plane ticket they use the passport name. This is what works for traveling between the Philippines and USA.

Ok. But I am still getting confused because on the I-765 EAD instructions itself states that the first question that asks for the full name has to reflect with the I-20 (I-94??) and the passport. My passport and I-94 still states my maiden name. So I'm really really confused at this point. At the same time, question number 2 which is the "other names used" section, the instruction states that only fill that section if the person filing this application does not live on the address that question number 3 states.

I am just trying to clear all these cob webs before I sent this application. So I'm hoping you can give me some clarity on this issue. Thaaaaank you sooo much.

Where the instructions for any form you are completing that ask for your maiden name then supply your maiden name. If it ask for your current name then use your married name.

Question one is your new name. Question two is your maiden name before you married.
