My fiancé just got her approval threw manila Yah but my question is I thought after approval you had to go to another window for the 2 go stuff to fill out instead we got a small slip of paper to register for delivery instead is this the new thing or do we need to go back in the embassy to do more paperwork?

It's a new thing that they are doing. It's much better then the old way. Get's you out of the Embassy quicker and if you need to change your address you can do it online instead of waiting yet another line. Embassy, is trying to make the entire process run a little smoother for them and for you.

I outline it here for others who would like to see what we are talking about.

Have you heard anything yet just curious on the time frame from approval to receiving the Visa. And how are you tracking it if possible?

Im tracking it at ustravel /ph/ site by the means of my passport number, but to my dismay no update yet. But according to a friend its only a matter of 3 days after approval. If its accurate we should have the packet by tomorrow. I also heard that CFO seminar thing is kinda hassle, when the packet arrives we should schedule right away.

If you want to track your passport ustravel /ph/ site > Immigrant Visa > Retrieving my Passport

Just type your passport number there and it should say something.

Hi everyone, sorry if I am not suppose to bump this up. I have a follow up question please. Regarding with the delivery address, can I place my sister's address instead? Since we sleep at daytime in our house in Cebu and I wanted to be sure that someone will be around when the courier arrives.

My question is, with the Visa package delivery(hopefully), do I need to be there to sign something? Or no need? Thanks in advance.

Yes it has to be signed for and you have to present proper ID as well.

You have to be physically there :)) hey its been almost a mo month? Havent you received it yet? After my approval my packet arrived 3working days after

No two visa cases are the same so it would be normal to receive a visa 30 days after the interview even though you received yours after 3 working days.

What can be the cause of delayed of issuing a visa? I got interviewed last Oct. 14 and until now my status was stuck on ready? but all the people i know who had their interview from

oct.14 to 19 already got their visa in hand.. I wonder why my visa take some time to get issued?

Hi Guys, another question please. If I choose to have my Visa delivered to Cebu, I can assume that USEM will use 2GO, correct?

Will I also be given a tracking number via 2GO so I could track it? I want to make sure that I will be there whenhopefully it gets delivered.
