Basic ideas: given a quote, you guess the movie. If you're correct, then you supply another quote (so if you ABSOLUTELY KNOW the movie the quote is from, you can post title and quote).

The new quote must NOT be from the same film, or the immediately preceding one.

(also recommend: if the movie has multiple versions, please give the release date)

I'll start with an easy one:

"...I took my place,

As the one-and-only bass

And oom-pah'ed up-and-down the square"

(Too many "tickets" at the office.

No, that quote wasn't from Cat Ballou.

Hint: the character to whom it was addressed was played by Richard Boone, but it was NOT Paladin)
