Hi to all VJ members. I am currently waiting for the sputum culture result this coming September 29. I was like waiting for 2 months for the result. And I want to know if it is positive or negative. I cannot call until it was the said date Anyone who has an idea if I'm on the safe side beacuse they didn't call me after 3 weeks... Hope everything will be fine.

No one can calm your worries, no one knows the result of the sputum testing. (historically if you have not been contacted in the past 3 weeks by SLEC that you are positive you most likely are fine... historically)

You just have to be patient.... and RELAX.

Call St. Lukes a few days before the 29th. They likely will tell you the results. It will be a few days less to worry about it. Most likely, you tested negative for TB.

You can call early, but 60 days is 60 days.

Don't be upset if they say call back, as 60 days is not up yet. When it comes to SLEC they do not cut corners.

i didnt call but i did email, it was 2 days earlier than the scheduled date to call. the advantage of getting results early is getting vaccination scheduled early too.. im scheduled tomorrow for vaccination. yeppy! thanks God! Thanks to all who responded for all my queries.

Hi emrich! Did they tell you that your result is negative? I called slec today for the result of my culture. I was just told to go to slec on the Thurs and bring the required visa picture. They cant divulge the result over the phone. Can you share your experience please. Thank you.

Nope they didn't say negative. They replied after 40 mins. And this is their response.

Your MTB culture results are already available, you may come back on tom. at 8:30A.M. for the vaccination and release of results. Kindly bring your passport and official receipt of payment and present it to the lobby guard upon entry.

Yes, when they tell you to come in for the vaccinations, you know you're good to go. I'm glad you completed it early.
