Good Evening all!

I just booked my fiances flight to the states and he will be arriving at the FLL airport, and I was wondering if anyone has gone through immigrations there and if they have any advice for me to pass along to my fiance. He is more nervous that hes not going to know where to go more than he is about meeting with an immigration officer! Ive only flown out of FLL once before and even I was a little confused on the way their layout was, so any advice would be appreciated!

Blessings!

I just flew in today from my fiancé k1 interview in Haiti. FLL is smaller and much more easier to get by. Just make sure you have 3 hr layover for him . The custom border guy told me today it will take about 1 yr for them to process my fiancé papers so be prepared to have connection flights 3hrs or more. Yes he can follow the crowd but once he reach immigration he will need to ask employees where would he go to turn in his packet because there is a separate line for that process. If he has a connection flight he will need to make sure to pick up all his luggage and re check in and have to go through security check again. This is where layover come in handy . But if FLL is his final destination then Bon voyage.
