Police certificate translation notirized?

Good morning. My husband's interview is coming up. He needs to take an updated police certificate, does it need to be translated?... and does the translation need to be notarized too?

Also.... he needs to take the 2014 tax papers for his sponsor, which is my sister. Does my sister need to fill out a new I-864 with that?

Translation requirements vary from country to country. Contact the Consulate in Juarez and ask if documents in Spanish require translation.

I took the police certificates (cartas de no antecedentes penales) but they weren't required. The consul didn't ask for them. I didn't translate them.

You are the primary sponsor because you are the petitioner. Your sister I guess is the co sponsor. So, yes she needs to fill out the I-864 and check the checkbox "I am the only joint sponsor". Your husband needs to take your I-864 and her I-864 to the interview.

Dont they have all of the sponsor forms already along with taxes?

farlovenear Thank you for your reply. They do have the sponsor forms already, but since NVC had our case for more than a year, the forms I had sent them back then were 2013 tax forms. So they now require us to take the 2014 ones.
