Hello VJers,

Does NVC send any email that they have received the documents? or do they respond only after fully reviewing the documents?

Please do share your experiences.

I submitted my documents to NVC a week ago but I have not received any email about the receipt.

A friend of mine got a receipt in 3 days but hers was an expedited case and is not applicable generally. So, I am wondering in general how long does NVC send a receipt email or is it 30 days?

I take it you received some correspondence from the NVC via email (welcome letter, invoices) so your e-mail is on file. After they receive the documents normally 2-3 days later they will send an e-mail confirming receipt of your document.

When was your package delivered?

Please update your timeline when you can.

I sent in my civil and financial documents last week (email processing).

I wonder why they have not emailed me any confirmation receipt of my document.

PS: I have added my timeline

That is weird. Sounds like a call to NVC is in order. They certainly should have received it shortly after you sent it. Sometimes I don't even know what the NVC is up to.

You can include when you sent your documents in your timeline.

After not receiving any notification from NVC after one week, I resend the package.

However, I received the email from NVC the next day that they received the packet on the earlier date.

Now, I am confused if they will be confused by my second email.

What should I do? Should I inform them to ignore the second package?
