Hi! I am appealing to those who have the experience of filing for K1 visa please help me with my questions.

My fiance received an email from the Abu Dhabi US embassy regarding the documents we need to produce to bring to the interview. They have given a website to log in but I needed the Invoice ID number in which I don't have yet. So bottom line is I can't log in without that number. My question questions are the following:

1) How can I get the Invoice ID number. I am a bit confused because the embassy has already send me information about the interview when I haven't received my Invoice ID number and Beneficiary ID number yet.

2) My fiance is currently preparing the documents for the affidavit of support. I want to ask if he needs to send the AOS to NVC for approval and if there's a fee for that?

3) Does my fiancee need to prepare domicile documents?

4) To those who have log in to the website that the embassy has ask you to log in in which you need an Invoice ID number. Can you please tell me the contents of the site. Just to give me an idea what to do when I'm able to log in.

I really appreciate the time you spent reading and answering my questions.

Thanks a bunch.

You state you already received instructions. Those instructions tell you that you must have the Invoice and Beneficiary ID numbers? Those should not be needed for a K-1. You can register at this site without those > https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-ae/iv

K-1 applicants send nothing to the NVC. There is no fee for the I-134. What do your instructions tell you to do? Bring all the documents to the interview? That is typically how it goes.

I don't know about your other questions, but we got the Invoice ID when I called NVC to get the case number (KBL for us in Kabul). They also gave us the beneficiary ID too. I have only needed to use the KBL number. For our area, we didn't yet use the invoice or beneficiary ID.

Thank you kaydeecee for the reply. There is a website that the embassy gave that you need to log in. The thing is I need to fill up the Invoice ID number in which I didn't have yet. People here said that we need to call NVC. My fiance has been calling the NVC office but so far he was not able to get through yet. They have a recorded message saying to call back because there's too many calls at the moment.

I was asking about the AOS because I have read some posts that there is a fee for it. It is confusing me or maybe its for other visa classification. The embassy is asking my fiance to provide I-864 form not I-134.

You should only need the I-134 for a K-1. You do not send anything to the NVC. That is not the process for K-1 applicants.
