What do you do when File/ Case is missing between NVC and Embassy?

Embassy has not received case and NVC in NH has sent case 9 weeks ago.

Any ideas?

Call NVC and get a hold of a supervisor... Be insistent but nice! If you don't get it than call again... Persistence pays off... Good luck getting through the NVC... Not many do without one problem or another

Spoke with NVC 3 times in past week. Supervisor is never available. They say our case is being looked into.

How can you loose track of a case? Only the NVC can do that..lol

If we don't look after our case I suppose it just disappears... Awesome system.

You NEED to speak to a supervisor. They are the only ones who could specifically track your file down, not the people who answer the phones. Been there.....

This should be an expedite without a hiccup as its a problem on their end.

I agree with you. How do you get an expedite?

I can only speak with someone that can not do anything.

Will keep trying.

Totally agree. I will have to hold hours for a supervisor, that's not a problem but they will not let me hold. They say call again.

Just keep calling back and let them know you need to speak to a supervisor right from the "get go"....eventually one of them will patch you through :) There is always a supervisor on site. A good one will give you their name and the hours they work so that when other problems or questions come up you call and ask specifically for them. That is what happened to us.

That is good advice. I will get on it tomorrow and hopefully get somewhere. I did not realize or think the U.S. System was that broken. Now I know. It's completely a failure. No wonder so many people are here illegally.

We are petitioning my wife's parents... We sent all the documents in the same envelope with their own cover page... Her father went right through and was completed 8/4/15... After calling a week later there was still nothing on her mom and we were told that they didn't look over her paper.... After calling them 3 to 4 times a day... Everyday for a week I got a supervisor... Found out that they lost her paperwork... She filed a document request and got the paperwork 3 days later and a case complete the next day....

Persistence! And one phone call after another... If I had t I believe that we'd still be waiting...

Ok glad that worked. I agree you have to keep going. Our case has invoice number and receipt number and was sent on DHL but it is missing.... Will continue to try and get answers for sure.
