So - Having had my medical on June 18th, to find out that apparently I had suspected TB (which I didn't), and having to pay a ####### load of money to see a specialist to find out what, if anything, was wrong with me, I now FINALLY have my interview date.

So interview was originally set for the 15th, but after filling in the final parts online, and paying for my visa, I realised that my I129f was expiring on the 13th. So I called up the embassy and they kindly brought the interview forward (to the 11th) for me! I don't know how, as I've read peoples posts saying it never happens, but the guy seemed really really at ease with doing it.

So now the worrying starts, and the panic, and the well, what ever else you can use to describe how I'm feeling.

The real reason for this post, is to ask yet again, if I have everything done, and if there is anything else you all feel that it would be beneficial to bring with me...

I Have my:

I129f approval

Ds160

Interview date form (with wrong date)

Email saying that I have paid for the visa (with correct new date)

Email confirmation of extra delivery fee

I134 affidavit of support

Her W2s for the past couple of years as well as a recent employment verification

My passport, and my old passport

passport photo

pictures of us (don't think i need these...but just in case)

Anything else!?!? Any suggestions, or tips, or advice to calm me down would be AMAZING!

Many thanks -

Alex

You didn't mention your police background check certificate and your nonimpediment to marriage certificate. Those are key. I hope you have them and just didn't bother mentioning. Good luck!

It's a certificate that states you are legally free to marry. It is a required document for a K1 visa. Usually it's obtained from the appropriate government agency in your country. For example in Jamaica it's.obtained from the Registrar Generals Department. There is a fee for it and there is expedited servcice as well which cost more. You should get more information on this ASAP. Didn't it say you need one in the packet you received from the embassy? If not, I suggest you call your specific embassy.
