OK, I'm not posting very much but I'm watching.

It seems to me that there is a lot of people getting snail mail responses before anything online shows. Considering everything is "wanded" or electronically scanned to keep tabs on things, why is it so difficult for the online notifications to be as actively current as the US mail service? I'm baffled.

Considering everything is "wanded" or electronically scanned to keep tabs on things, why is it so difficult for the online notifications to be as actively current as the US mail service? I'm baffled.

And my hope is that it takes just one more day to get a snail mail letter from CA to TN !!!!! I mean come on... we all know how backwards TN is... :lol:

It is weird, remember when everyone was getting 3-11 email alerts? Now what's happened? Maybe some techi there tried to cut down the number of emails people get, and accidently cut them off altogether! :blink:

July 15, 2010: Sent N-400 packet
July 23, 2010: NOA Notice date
Oct 15, 2010: Citizenship Interview - Passed!
Nov 15, 2010: Oath Ceremony in Fresno, CA
Nov 24, 2010: Did SSN and Applied for Passport
Dec 6, 2010: Passport Arrives
Dec 7, 2010: Sent for Indian Passport Surrender Certificate
Dec 27, 2010: Surrender Certificate Arrives
Jan 3, 2011: Sent for Overseas Citizenship of India Card
March 1, 2011: Received OCI card!

Divorce

Feb 2015:​ Found out he was cheating (prostitutes / escorts)

It seems VSC still sends out NOA2 notices by email? So I hear....

Tony (UK) and Danielle (US) K-1 Visa journey

2007:

February, 06: Sent I-129f package to the US to be routed to Vermont

February, 09: I-129f forwarded to Vermont USCIS from US Home

February, 12: I-129f arrives VSC :) Journey really starts!

February, 13: NOA1 Reciept date

February, 16: VSC Cashes the check

March, 09: NOA2 Email. yay!

March, 11: Touched... Probably for the last time at VSC :)

March, 14: NVC Recieved package

March, 15: NVC Sent package to London

March, 20: Package recieved in London

March, 28: Packet 3 recieved!

April, 2: Packet 3 Sent back to London

April, 10: Packet 3 recieved by London Embassy

April, 17: Packet 4 recieved

May, 1: Medical

May, 29: Interview! - APPROVED

June, 1: Visa in Hand

July 18: Fly back together POE

July, 24: Legally married!

July 27: Filed for AOS

July 30: AOS recieved in Chiacgo

August 24: NOA1 for EAD, AP and AOS

September 15: Real Marriage with friends and family

September 18: Biometrics

October 3: EAD card production ordered!

October 11: EAD card in hand!

October 15: Case forwarded to California!

Nov, 08: Card production ordered! AWESOME

Nov, 15: Green Card Recieved (even though it's yellow)! AWESOME

Well darn it, I hope they'll fix their online status updates or I will loss on a bet :lol:

I bet my fiancee that since I am the beneficiary and the one who checks for our case status online, I'll be the first to know once we got approved and he'll only get the NOA2 copy thru snail mail. :lol:

It would have been so much better if we can still check online, right? It know that it's going to kill the suspense upon seeing a mail from California in your postal mail box but it would be great if we know what's going on, right?

Come on CSC! Give us some consolation here! :wacko:
