I had my interview today and was approved. I was given my sealed envelope to hand in at POE. I have come home only to find I no longer have it. I think it may have slide out of the bag it was in when the bag fell off the door hook on the back of the toilet door and I hadnt realised it. I am crashed out from being on a high from my approval.

I am hoping it was handed in

Is this a serious matter??? will i be able to get it back from the embassy in good time or will i have to wait for an appointment?

Any advise will be helpful please

Your important POE sealed envelope comes with the visa delivery. You lost your X-ray that Knightsbridge passes back to you because they don't want it. You never need it again for immigration so no worries. I promise.

Lolita 12357,

Go to 'home' then 'forums' select your category of forum eg. K1 process... When you select your forum, at the top of the page (above the questions already there) you will see 'start new topic'. You should be good to go then.

thats a relief. im sure she gave it to me though

She did give you an envelope. The LONDON embassy document person hands back an envelope that contains your X-ray. Despite what Lolita posted, it does NOT contain your medical results and is NOT needed at POE. They did not give back your immigration or medical file because they aren't through with them until they issue the visa. The DX courier will bring the important sealed envelope when they deliver the passport/visa. Don't lose that one because it contains everything you ever submitted for immigration.
