Firstly, I read on a site something about the NVC office having to send my husband (Hes the beneficiary) something in the mail. Is this information correct?

If so, here is our dilemma.

My husband is from Bangladesh but was living in Malaysia studying. He's currently back in Bangladesh though because his mother is sick. He will probably be there for a few months.

So seeing as how he may not be back in time to get mail sent to Malaysia, should I contact the office?

wait. wait.

anything postal mail, to a beneficiary, from NVC,

occurs because NVC is in postal processing mode for Visa Application process.

Most folk at VJ don't do that, instead (over the course of years) learning the shortcuts and publishing the shortcuts.

for 'go-fast' mode at VJ at NVC, there's ain't no postal processing done with NVC.

You need to delay? That's easy, just delay. You have a year per thing (there are 2) so that's 2 years at NVC to get it done.

Link below, click it when you can see it when using a pc [its invisible if'n yer on a handphone]

Jawaree - my advice would be totally opposite yours, as the beneficiary will be returning to school soon back in Malaysia. What's up ?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Sorry, I don't understand. Do you mean, they don't send need to send the beneficiary anything in the postal mail?

depends on the mode. There are 2 major modes:

1. Postal Processing Mode

2. Go Fast Mode

In Go Fast Mode, there is no postal mail. To AnyOne..

Want to study Go Fast Mode? Click the link in my signature area. Can't see my signature area? Come back on a PC, make certain yer user profile settings has 'view signatures' turned on.

The beneficiary will get a letter from NVC with case number and IIN. But you can also call NVC and get this via the phone. Once you do your choice of agent (DS-261), you'll give email addresses and all communication will be via email.
