According to instructions concerning the I 751 it says if you are married under 2 years, you must do application for I 751

As now we received our visa and have been married over 5, what is the next step required when he comes to the US in 2 weeks?

Do i still have to do I 751?

If not, what is required?

I have read the USCIS website and it really is not clear

Thanks

Jeanne

The I-751 is filed to remove conditional residence status. When a spouse enters the US, and as of the date of entry, the couple is married less than two years (CR-1) then the immigrant spouse receives a 2-year conditional green card. Ninety days prior to the expiration of this 2-year green card, they will file the Form I-751 and provide evidence of a bona fide marriage in order to remove these conditions and receive their 10-year green card.

Since you and your spouse have been married for more than two years, he falls into the IR-1 category and will therefore receive a 10-year green card. After 3 years, he will be eligible to apply for citizenship, so once he arrives in the US, there are no other forms you will need to fill out. All you'll need to do is pay the GC fee, apply for a SSN and wait for his GC to arrive in the mail.

~~moved to ROC from IR1/CR1. Question is about the I-751 and who needs to file it. Not about the CR1 process.

(to note question was answered but to keep the forums tidy, i'm moving this topic)~~
