Am I worrying too much? I checked USCIS website last week and I found out they mailed a request for initial evidence (on our i-485 form) on August 13.

But I didn't get any text message, nor e-mails, nor the letter. I'm starting to think that they never sent the letter or just something went wrong..

Do they always send e-mails in these cases?

The "checking mailbox obsession" has started and I'm so frustrated because I know there is a deadline to submit the evidence they want! :clock:

The RFE letters don't normally go out on the same day as issued, they are sent U.S. mail. Give it another 5 days, and if still nothing, call back and request to speak to a

supervisor.

Just be calm and respectful, and you will make your way to a supervisor.

AOS in the USA.

I'm just over-worrying about this whole thing. I got the letter today, and they were asking for something my husband forgot to send with his i-864 form.. -.-
