my fiance is a thai national and we just received our NOA1 a few weeks ago, now im looking at the next steps. i see we have to get a police clearance and medical exam, there are so many documents to gather for this that im just not sure where to start and am feeling a bit overwhelmed mostly because it will be hard for me to explain all of this to my fiance.

1) what would the best way for her to understand what all that is needed with the communication gap that we have?

2) i had an attorney apply for us here in the usa, i understand that we are waiting for the NOA2 to proceed, will my attorney get a packet as well and should she process the packet?

Your attorney should be able to explain the steps and what is needed- that is why you pay them after all, as opposed to doing it by yourself as most members of this site. This Guide will give you a good outline what to expect though: http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide

The communication gap will be an issue; one of the big things the consular officer will focus on is how you two communicate (her language or yours? is either of you fluent? etc). You may want to pay for some English lessons for her if you can.
