Aloha,

I have read several topics regarding the updates on AOS form I-864. I received email 8/6/15 from NVC stating that I had 1 error from my AOS form but instead of sending the updated form to NVC send it to my beneficiary and bring it to their interview. I already mailed the AOS form to my parents 8/7/15 but I used the 2013 version. I just called the NVC today and they said that my case has been completed (Thank you Lord) and they are just waiting from US Embassy in Manila for my parents interview. My question is do I have to fill out the 2015 version?

I would really appreciate your suggestions. Mahalo!

Because i received an email checklist on aug.07 bec of one minor mistake then I sudmitted the corrected one today. Would that delay our case?

I did received Checklist too but it says,

"Even though requesting information is still missing, we will schedule your case for an interview. We will tell you when we have an interview date for your case. Please do not contact the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in MANILA, PHILIPPINES about your interview until we give you the appointment date. Do not send any of the missing items to the NVC. Instead, send them to MY BENEFICIARY so he or she can take them to the visa interview for the Consular Officer to review."

Is that the same as yours?

No, we're different. I think i really need to submit it again to the NVC because my checklist didn't say like that. By the way, thanks for the response. I did submit the older version too.

Aloha,

At USCIS portal this message is showing:

07/02/15. (Starting 10/06/15, USCIS will only accept the 07/02/15 edition. Until then, you can use the 03/22/13 edition.).

IF I were you, I would fill up the new I864 form 2015 edition and send it to my parents. because technically at this moment of time I'm filling up new I864, because my previous I864 was not accepted.
