Hi all! i am petitioning my wife and my son and both cases are at NVC. On Aug06, by checking the CEAC website, i saw 3 N/A's on my wife's case but for my son, it doesn't change. Last night we received an email for the checklist on AOS, there is some information need to be corrected, and i am planning to send the corrected AOS next week. I just wanted to clarify this guys coz as what i have understood in my wife's case, it's case complete right? But for my son we have to comply the checklist. Is it possible for them to have the same interview date? pls enlighten me guys. Thank you.

By the way, the AOS checklist was for my son's case

Normally.... you wife and son will have the same interview dates. If for some strange reason that does not happen then return here and we will give you the steps. Relax. It's hard to anticipate anything and everything that will happen. The best offense is to be "perfect" in filing out your documents. If you have questions, come here and ask before you submit the document for processing. We can save you a lot of time and headaches.

Thanks Greenbaum.. im so worried coz my son is 4 yrs old. about the checklist, i filled the I-864w and minor mistake only, instead for the principal applicant's name shoud be written in Part 3.. i put my name there. So i would expect that there will be some delays on my wife's case until such time that they can review my son's case.. thank you again

Hi Greenbaum, i just found out that there is a new edition for all the I-864 form. Is it ok, if i still send the old edition for my son's checklist? Or do i need to fill up the new edition one? Thank you.

He is YOUR son? If so. You can't get a visa for your son, you need to complete CRBA and get him a U.S. passport.
