What am I?

So, I have applied for adjustment of status a few months ago now. I have my EAD and I just want to know what am I considered? You see, I am applying for jobs and ones requirement is: Are you one of the following: a United States Citizen, a lawful permanent resident alien, a citizen of American Samoa or any other territory owing allegiance to the United States?Individuals granted only asylum status, refugee status, or conditional permanent resident status are not eligible for Postal Service Employment.

Would I be eligible for this position? Some help would be really appreciated.

I'm guessing you came here on K-1? I don't believe you are considered a permanent resident alien until you have your 10 year green card. I think you become a conditional permanent resident when you get the 2 year conditional green card. You are probably considered a non-resident alien until your green card gets processed, even though you are authorized to work in the US.

When you get your first green card, you'll be a conditional permanent resident.

Until you get your 10-year green card, you're not eligible for hire in this position.
