Alien number cancelled?

2 posts in this topic

Good evening!

My husband and I had an ongoing process for Adjustment of my status in the country, which was recently denied by USCIS.

I´ve returned to my home country and we are starting a CR1 process this time.

We are currently filling out a new I-130. Our question would then be: was my A# from our denied process cancelled?

We know it´s a tough question but we´d appreciate if anyone could help us.

Thank you!

Alien numbers, like social security numbers, are issued for life. You should include your old alien number on your new forms, where appropriate.

You would also need to correct the deficiency that led to your first application being denied, or it may happen again.
