I-485 Exempt of Mandatory Military Service (Mexico) Question

Hi,

I am filling my I-485 because I am applying for AOS based on marriage to U.S citizen. I am a citizen of Mexico in F-1 VISA.

I have a question regarding the I-485 where they ask in Part 3, section C about memberships an associations: "Please include any military service"

In Mexico I was exempted to do mandatory military service, I was in an election year an all people in that year were exempted. However, I did get the document to proof that I approved the military service (in Spanish is "cartilla militar"). But I never had to do anything at all, just show up and sign.

Should I mention that? I do not know how to explain it?

Thank you
