About 5 or 6 of us working to get our visas approved through the Bogota consulate, tracked our journey in the above thread. A few of us posted doctor reviews approximately around page 4. If you read my review, you will avoid a certain Dr Monica. She was the worst. Good luck!

We are about to go through Dr. Roa, and I don't recommend him. He sent us an email stating (at random) to not get vaccines anywhere else or it could mess us up. This is not correct information. It states in the letter that one could bring vaccine records and states on the USCIS page that you can get vaccines elsewhere and bring record. He put it in caps as well. I have also read that he will give vaccines that one doesn't need (either not age appropriate or out season (ie flu shot)). If it is not too late to switch, we will :(

UGHGGHGHGHH...

Thanks for the information. Quite the DR it sounds...really caring about people's health...I've also got word that Dr Monica is pretty inept requiring unneeded documents that dragged out the process and required one woman to make extra flights to Bogota...once just to sign something they forgot to have her sign when she was there...and then sent the information late to the Embassy despite their requests. Not to many options left.

This is the best Bogota doctor review that I saw, from member yc146:

We went with Rodolfo José Dennis located at Centro de Especialistas Fundación Cardioinfantil Cra. 13B No. 161-85 Torre H, Piso 1Bogotá. We called them all to schedule an appointment and they were usually rude. With this doctor the secretary was really nice, and also the doctor. My husband had his appointment at the beginning of the month. And he really liked this doctor

We have not did the med appointment yet Abtin. I know that is not the news you want to hear. I hope everything is OK. I would be surprised if that was a common thing found in these exams. My prayers go out to you and your family. All the best.

Thank you Ana y Jack for your concern, it was actually my Friend who was told this went for his appointment with Dr. Roa. My Friend is 17, never smoked, plays semi-professional soccer, So we don't think it is an actual health scare.

My Friend said that at least four other people in the Doctors office with him were also told they had "spots" and one of the other patients flipped out cause the doctor wanted more money for the tests and would postpone issuing the Visa. At this point we think there might be something wrong with the X-ray machine, because Four people with "spots" sounds very suspicious.

Good luck with your exam.
