Hypnos unless that document was written by the Jamaican government in the last two hours, I would advise you and anyone else who wish to travel to Jamaica without a passport to call and get validation from their custom offical border patrol.

The Jamaican government has a motto what was yesterday, today is another day. So if the individual do not want to be sitting in a small room in custom, waiting on a return flight, I would highly suggest that they make this call.

But, people who only follows what they read on the Internet, not sure of the author or the validation of the documentation lives at their own risk.

Both of these indicate that you do not need a passport to enter Jamaica as an LPR or to re-enter the US as an LPR.

You can visit JA without a tourist visa if you are a LPR. You will still need a passport from your home country to enter JA.

I was able to travel into Jamaica and back to the US with just my Green Card and NO passport
