So I had my AOS interview on May 22, we immediatley got separated, they asked us like 57 questions which we got 90% correct. They gave us a paper saying they put our case under review. So far we got no online update, no mail or anything. I am really worried because me n my wife we r planning to go to my home country for a vaccation. Anybody been through this or any advices what should I do? Should I contact the USCIS to ask about my case or just wait?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

nah - status changes because a human worked a keyboard. smells like the local office local practices leave much to be desired, on working a keyboard.

you could certainly call into USCIS and ask for status with a CSR, but they can only see what you can see. Sometimes talking with an ISO is useful, but you must learn to ask very pointed and focused questions of them. an ISO is a Tier 2 human at the National Call Center, and you gotta ask the CSR (the first goon that answers the phone) to be transferred to an ISO.
