I would love to hear answers to this question as well.

Anyone with a recent K1 visa interview experience at the US Embassy in Bangkok - after you passed your interview, how long did it take to get your visa?

Thanks!

Usually it's 10 days if you select to have it mailed out to you. If you decide to have it picked up.. it's usually available on a monday.. they're usually issued on the weekend.

In my case it took 2 months as there was a 221g but they needed more info.. a certificate of being single.. which didn't make sense since we were both never married but apparently you need to go to the amphur for that. I sent that in and it alone delayed me 2 months so pray you have all the paperwork needed right away.

Yeah, i think steve n sang's case set some speed records, good to see things are still going well! we will aply for 10 year grean card in about 8 months.

We were definitly lucky at the K-1 stage, 125 days from NOA-1 AND we cancelled the interview and had it 2 weeks later. AOS was a different story, a little over 14 months to get 2yr. green card. Things are going well, thank you, although Songsang doesn't particularly like Chicago,I have been lucky and been able to spend 3 months a year in Thailand the past 3 years, is looking good for this coming January and February, i am a little concerned that she is basically staying in Chicago 6 months and Thailand 6 months as far as the 10yr. interview goes. Happy that things are well for you both also....
