Consulate Review: Bangkok, Thailand
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : August 4, 2015
Embassy Review : My fiancée's interview was at 7am and went very well. She said her interviewer was very kind.

I front loaded the I-129f application with many photos of us together, us traveling together and us with her family. I also front loaded the I-129f with many examples of our chat logs and online communication.

My fiancée prepared complete folders of photos, Line, Skype, Facebook and email records. She literally carried in a box full of well organized documents.

We practiced many interview questions together and I think my fiancée went into the interview very confident.

The interviewer mostly asked my fiancée about my business and the interview went quickly. My fiancée called me at 8:41AM with the good news.

My advice is to front load the I-129f and come to the interview well prepared.
Rating : Very Good

Local US CIS Office Review: Denver CO
Review Topic: cis_topic
Event Description
Review Date : August 3, 2016
Embassy Review : We arrived for the interview 30 minutes early, and our name was called 15 min prior to the scheduled interview time (1:15pm). We were 100% prepared and everything went quickly. They needed certified marriage license, birth certificates for each of us (with my Thai wife's English translation), US ID's (EAD/AP and passport for her, DL and passport for me), copy of joint accounts (checking and Visa), utility statements with both names, and health insurance cards. He didn't look at any of our photos. The Denver office also required 2 affidavits of sworn statements from people who have known us from before our marriage to the present that can attest that we are living together as a married couple. This is the only thing we didn't have. The officer said as soon as he receives the affidavits, the green card will be issued and we should receive it a week or two later.

The Filipino officer was very friendly and quickly put my Thai wife at ease. For us it was a very quick and painless experience.
Harassment Level : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
