We have had my application go though to the NVC, and she has received the AOS bill, which the money has been sent to her, so that she can pay it electronically. However, It didn't come with the IV Processing fee bill, which I thought would be included, so we could pay them all at the same time, as I have seen in the instructions.

But when I go to the US embassy website for Canberra, they talk about the IV processing fee, (US$325) as being payable at Sydney, on the day of the interview (I think thats what it all means) (Web page here) So does that mean when the AOS is paid, I will then receive the email or letter from the consulate telling me that I can start on the DS-260, and then pay for it on the day of my interview?

I haven't found much information about this, Is this something that US and Australia have organised, where the beneficiary can pay at the consulate or am I totally confusing things?

No. That would only be paid at the embassy if someone happened to be doing DCF for a rare and exceptional circumstances.

You will pay it on the CEAC site when the DS-261 is added to the file and the IV fee comes available.
