Just a few additions. The maunder minimum occurred in the middle of the little ice age; it did not start it. This means that even if we experience cooling, it will likely not be at the same level as the 1600s,1700s, and early to mid 1800s.

I'm also noticing that they are predicting a decade of no solar activity as opposed to multiple decades.
