I'm giving up here really! Went for our interview two weeks ago... Was told " great news your approved" and even told I can book my ticket! Told I'd have my passport back in three days! A week later I emailed them and was told the officer who needs to sign off our visas for printing wasn't there to do so! Today I hear my kids are under administrative processing/ security checks! For what on earth after ten months ??????? Please someone if you know what could be going on let me know. I'm starting to wonder if shouldn't just go on alone. Seems not everyone's entitled to love and happiness. So so frustrating

Hi

You hear less of this on the forums as most don't have K2 applications. I did.

For some crazy reason the embassies appear not to process the parent and children's applications together. Mine went into AP a day before my daughter's did. In fact, every step seemed to see hers a day or more behind mine. A bit of searching on here showed that this is normal.

Congratulations on tour approval :)

Oh I pray all this gets over and done with soon! I must be honest but so far I was fearing the worst. Did u ever get a notice regarding the ap? That's the most confusing part for me. I mean I will have to cancel our flight tomorrow because of this and that's terrible as it is, thinking I could wait months still for "no" reason makes me want to go bonkerz!
