Mailing additional Documents to USCIS after the Initial packet

Hi All,

I send in my initial packet with evidence on Jue 29th and got the notice of action from USCIS. However today I realized that instead of sending the tax transcripts I have sent the form 1040 for each year. I am pretty sure they will not consider that as evidence because they require an IRS transcript. I am thinking of mailing an addition packet with the transcripts from IRS before I get an RFE for that. Anyone ever mailed an additional packet before receiving an RFE and is that okay. In the notice of action there is a sentence that states.

"If you have not already done so, provide supporting documents to assist USCIS in processing your petition and to establish eligibility to remove the conditional basis of your permanent residence. PLEASE INCLUDE A COPY OF THIS RECEIPT NOTICE WITH ANY SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS YOU SUBMIT."

So I gues its okay to submit evidence after sending the initial packet. Any opinions or comments??

I sent tax transcripts after getting my NOA and never got an RFE. I cannot guarantee you'll have the same journey are I, but from what I've seen, resubmitting evidence before the biometrics letter is received send to result in no RFEs.

However, if you have additional strong evidence in your original application, then this won't be a problem. Good luck!

Thanks for the info and clarifications, just one question though -- did you just send the transcipts with a covering letter stating that you were sending the transcripts and add a copy of the notice of the action. Also did you (the person applying for removal of conditions) sign the letter or your spouse (the US citizen).

I just ordered the copy today, so it will probably take a week for me to get them by mail, the online service is not working now, will keep checking when it will be up again. So hopefully I should be able to send it latest sometime next week.

I did not send a 2nd cover letter. I send the transcripts and a copy of the NOA. A cover letter is not necessary.

Even if they had the time, I can't imagine why they would want to.

"Dear blah blah, enclosed please find blah blah for me and my spouse blah blah we swear our marriage is true blah blah, sincerely blah and blah."

I sent additional evidences 3 months after NOA, hoping I won't get an RFE! I'm a VSC Feb filer, so I should have some response in October ... either approval or RFE.

Here is what I wrote on the cover page:

Dear Immigration Services Officer,

Enclosed please find a copy of my I-751 Receipt Notice with additional supporting documentation.

This documentation is as follows:

........

In my opinion, they DO expect you to list the content of the package. They like everything to be neat and organized.
