Aloha,

Can some of you offer some advice from personal experience about medical insurance for someone

coming to the US on a B2? I have read alot and most is marketing babble. I need practical advice.

You mean Travel Insurance which includes Medical Insurance.

In most countries it is something you would purchase locally, I am not familiar with the Indian market, but with the number of Indians travelling I would imagine it is fairly well developed.

From a practical point of view you need to ensure the limits are adequate, there is normally a local help number to call in case of emergency, they piggy back on a few national service providers, you usually get a card with the contact details.

If you wanted to visit India, or the UK, would you buy it at home before you went or in the Country you were going to visit?

I don't know. As I said, I know zero about this topic. That's why I came here.
