DS-260 at Interview

Our case has been expedited, but our DS-260 has never been completed due to the on-going technical errors. I have tried several times to get through to NVC all morning to no avail, but last week they stated they were sending everything off to the embassy. Is it possible, I will have to do the DS-260 at the appointment? I may try to call the embassy in a few days.

Outages are intermittent; you need to keep trying. DS-260 must be completed.. and submitted.. for review prior to interview.

Since posting, I was able to get through to NVC & she said to wait a few days & to call the embassy, but they know I have not been able to do the form. We need to be in the US by late August so I hope our appointment is soon. They have to fix this problem soon or offer another solution. As an American citizen, this bothers me so much they are not doing anything about it in a timely matter.

Well.. officially the State Dept is working to fix the issue(s). But I've seen whispers there is more than is officially acknowledged.. ie possible national security issues involved (inability to conduct background checks on visa applicants).

As Americans, we're all frustrated.. looks like security trumps short term pain.

Same case here we have paid bill iv fee two weeks ago still have no update regarding that nor we can have access to ds 260 earliar we got an error notice from NVC regarding filling of tax return which our consultant corrected and sent it back and Aos status has not been updated too now things is NVC said they will take 60 days to review and if all goes well n every thing is complete they will schedule the interview now I am worried if bill iv status and unavailability of ds 260 form continues for another month where we stand it means another missing document notice and another sixty days review. :/
