Hello Everyone,

We will be sending my K1 package to Texas soon. My question is that my beneficiary in Canada (my fiance) want to use different mailing address on I129f then what he used for present address on G325a. Is that ok? or does that adds any legal complications? or it might delays my case if we do so?

Thanks

During the initial process, it doesn't really matter since you as the petitioner would be the one getting mail. But the problem would be after the NVC stage when the embassy sends the beneficiary packet 3 etc. From what I understand about the forms, the I-129F actually asks for your mailing address and the G-325A is just gathering info on where you have been physically over the last 5 years. So you just have to make sure the I-129F shows the beneficiary's preferred mailing address. If you want to feel a bit more at ease about it, you can include a letter explaining why. No, I don't believe there would be legal implications and the only delay would be if the embassy messes up and sends the packet to a different address.
