Expedite through info pass appointment

Hi,

We have just returned from an info pass appointment where we attempted to expedite our AP application. While the officer was extremely nice and sympathetic she stated that field officers are unable to deal with expedites, only emergency travel requests. I have seen loads and loads of evidence all over the web of people receiving successful expedite through an info pass appointment, the USCIS' own webpage on expedite criteria suggests making an info pass information.

I have called USCIS and we have started a service request but I was hoping to be able to deal with this in person. Is the anything I can do? Has anyone else been turned away from an info pass for expedite requests?

No, expedite requests go through USCIS not through a local office. Contact USCIS

There is so much conflicting information out there, it makes all of this so much harder! I already contacted them and now I just have to wait...
