Good Day! While waiting for my future husband to come and visit me here in the Philippines this August, what can i do and prepare. What are those specific documents and how many copies each for me to get and prepare. Someone told me i have to start already to get and process my international passport? What is an international passport? Is it different to the passport that i have already since then. please help. I need a specific answer. Thank you

WHEN your fiance is already in the PH, have your visa picture taken in Great images (located at any SM malls). remember the picture must be a RECENT one

print all the docs needed for K1 available at USCIS website sample of forms available in VJ. take note of the expiry dates of the forms.

Our PH passort is only needed. Renew it if it's already near the expiry date.

AGAIN. please do your research everything is already available in the internet. go to ms. presson's blog if you want a detailed walk-through.

Please read and don't expect everybody to feed you information. we did it ourselves and I have confidence that YOU CAN DO IT TOO! :)

goodluck ^^

You don't need an international passport. I for one don't even know what one looks like. A Filipino passport is all you need.

You can find answers to questions with by step by step guide found here http://tinyurl.com/ob9xoa8.

Return here to VJ for any direct questions as there are great people that can help.

I think some communist countries have internal passports, Will not apply to you. All you need is a Philippines passport.

I would make a tarpaulin and hang it at your house welcoming him to the Philippines, make sure to put his picture on it, it a pretty cool welcoming gift and pretty cheap to do.

Just take pics in front of jeepneys, trikes, Jollibee's typical Philippines things.......

Every country has "internal" passports as they are passports issued internally in their country.

I think Russia you need internal passports to travel inside the country and also used as an ID, since it was broken up into so many countries.

Vol.... you surprised me.... you are so right about internal passport.

"The Internal passport of Russia (Russian: Паспорт гражданина Российской Федерации) is the primary identity document for Russian citizens who are aged 14 or over and reside in the Russian Federation"
