Afternoon Interview time

Hi

I've got my interview date and time!

It's 1pm though - has anyone else had an afternoon interview?

Everyone I've seen has had a morning interview and turned up at 7 etc - so I'm wondering what time I should go to the embassy for a 1pm interview?

Thanks!

Filed: K-1 Visa Country: United Kingdom
Timeline

When I asked about my status a couple of weeks ago, I had this note in the email back from the embassy:

For your reference, the Immigrant Visa Unit is no longer able to conduct interviews in the morning in July.
Therefore, any interview appointments previously scheduled for the morning have been rescheduled to 1:00pm.

There first report of changes from the embassy said May and June interviews would be in the afternoon. Looks like they have continued that into July.

The embassy generally send out letter to confirm the interview date.

I had mine moved to 13:00 (and my interview date was moved too - very rarely happened).

If you have not received anything in the post, you can send them an email via the contact form on the US embassy website.
