G-325A "Last address outside of the USA"

Hai!

We sent out our I-129F yesterday and to ease my mind again I just went over my entire document again, only to realize I might have messed up on something!!

I`m the beneficiary and I have never lived in the USA, only visited once.

On my addresses in the past 5 years I put the only address I have ever lived at, from my birth month till present, but on the next question,

Applicant`s last address outside of the USA, I have typed "none". I think I might have messed up following the example of a petitioner filling it out and I`m not sure if I should had put my actual address in there, or if "none" will be fine.

Will I get an RFE for this? And if so, would it be a good idea to already send out the right form to my fiance in case we get an RFE for it? Or will the date become a problem since the date of the new, corrected form will be a date before the RFE will be issued?

Thanks in advance

x Kim

I'm no expert but I would just wait and see what happens. I think that they can figure out that you have only lived at one address since you gave them your current address prior to that question.

Sure, send him the correct G325A just in case so that it's ready to go out if you do get an RFE. Nah, date doesn't matter. Don't get too worried, worse case scenario is an RFE which you can easily fix.

Thank you I will, do you think we`re likely to get an RFE for it or would this be a minor mistake they, like Maria&Steve thinks, might just figure out themselves?

I can`t help but be overly worried about these little things!

I can`t help but be overly worried about these little things!

I would recommend calling USCIS and see what they say :)

I can't really say because adjudicators have different ways of dealing with things. What is minor to one might be a big deal to another. Even if you do get an RFE, you can easily fix it.

Look on the bright side, if you do get an RFE, at least you got concrete proof that your papers aren't lost and that someone is actually working on your case. It's not the best "update", but still an update on your case nonetheless.

Not trying to boost an old thread but I just wanted to give an update on how it went with my mistake in the G-325A in case others look for the same thing on these forums later.

We sent our case on June 9th 2015, our NOA1 date is June 15th 2015 and we got approved without an RFE on July 23rd 2015.

Either we got a very nice adjucator or it really doesn`t make that big a difference.

I did send him a corrected version of the G-325A a few days after I realized my mistake and he had it laying in an envelope ready to be sent out the day we would get an RFE. I`m glad we didn`t need it, though!
