waiting for interview date K-1 visa

Ok, so we have done the medical, ds160, and the readiness form...its been three weeks since we sent in the last thing (being the readiness form)...i was just wondering if we have to wait for an email conformation, telling us that they have everything and its all ok, or do we just have to wait 4-6 weeks for the letter telling us what our interview date is? I've done some searching and I'm pretty sure we sent in everything that they need to give us an interview, i would just like to be sure. Please help! Xoxo

I know I have replied to your posts several times in this K1 forum, but one more time....Do you know where the UK forum is on VJ? It's the place where you would get the best answers about a London interview. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/99-united-kingdom/. For example most in this K1 petition forum don't even do a readiness form for their consulate.

In the UK FORUM, people are going through the same thing you are. You would learn a lot from their experiences. All London, all day long.

Nobody will email you to confirm your things are okay. Nobody even looks at your DS-160 or medical report until interview day. Once your three things are received, you get a letter. You can use the contact form to get in touch with the embassy if you think it's been too long. I would say 3 weeks is about the longest it should take to get the letter.
