Where will your interview be? Rome or Naples? The officers might asks the person if they speak English and if not they can do it in Italian. At least that's what I've heard from the people at the Naples consulate.

Hello,

Does anibody know in wich language the interview at the embassy is usually done? Does it have to be in English? Or can it be done in the home language?

In Naples you can start the interview in your language simply saying "buongiorno" at the begining. The Cosul probably will test your English at certain point.
