We're also in supervisor review and were told it's basically just that: a supervisor collects your documents/forms and reviews them, which adds up to 42 days to the process. You can still get a checklist - or case complete - from this.

The reason for ours was the same, over 30 days processing. It's frustrating when you get penalised for their inefficiency, but what can you do?

How long have you guys been in supervisor review? Some people say it doesn't take the whole 42 days - more like a week or so, and others have been in supervisor review for the full 42 days without any movement on their cases. I just wish we could get straight answers and clear ideas of how much longer this is all going to take. I guess we're still better off than those guys who have already been for their interviews and approved, but can't get their passports yet because of the systems crash. Six of one, half a dozen of the other if you ask me.

Guys I used to call them everyday, once in the morning and once right before they close. I also emailed them twice asking about my husbands case till finally when I called last Wednesday told me that my case was reviewed but have to correct AOS. So I am waiting for the checklist to be emailed to me so I can correct the AOS and send it back with the cover sheet. I called them yesterday to ask when will I receive, they said they been real busy and got hit with a lot of approved applicants and it will take another week for them to just e mail me my checklist :protest: I wander if they are understaffed or what is going on?

A week as of today, and I was told this morning that nobody has picked up the case yet.

The IT issue is being so poorly managed but it's exactly what I'd expect from bureaucracy.

I'm so depro at the moment...was fully expecting (and within reason as I researched historical timelines for this) that I would be in the US by the end of July. My husband and I have been living continents apart since March last year and it's becoming unbearable. Now that goalpost has just shifted out of sight again and I just don't know if I have the fight left in me tbh. This is the most brutal process I have ever been through, by far. How do they expect people to maintain their health and wellbeing when being forced to live apart from their significant others for so long and with no information about how much longer it will take? It's not humane. It's getting harder and harder to remain positive. The supervisor review thing really was the last straw for me.

Sending hugs! Completely agree the process is ridiculously hard on emotions and life. So many bad dreams, it's easy to be down about it but lucky to see family a little more if nothing else.

We *will* get there. The not knowing when part is a killer though

Thanks for that :) Yes, it's the not knowing that really takes the wind out of your sails. I've noticed that the NVC reps also seem to be a lot more stressed (read 'unfriendly') lately. Had to really bite my tongue the last time I called to not say, "Oh, I'm sorry for wasting your time, was there somewhere else you were wanting to be right now?" No real answers, no empathy, no information, no timeframes, just a big fat zilch. I will not call again. My husband can pick up those reigns now. I'm done calling them just to be treated like a pain in the ###. I wonder if they treat US Citizens who call differently? What's your scan date btw?

Do you know what is wrong with your AOS and are on EP. For EP applicants you don't need to wait for the checklist e-mail. You can send your docs using the AOS coversheet.

Morgan, that post you made yesterday really made me giggle..."Can I help you?" "No, you can't. I want to speak to a supervisor." Wish I had the nerve to do that...so funny...what was the rep's response btw? You see, you don't mess with a lady who's about to have a baby...that's just asking for trouble

Hahahahaha!! That just made my day. She remembered you, huh? LOL!! I'm sure she did!! You go girl *high five*. Did speaking to the supervisor do any good at the end of all that? And how long to do you have to wait before they get a supervisor on the line?

they usually do something for me, pushed my expedite through to the embassy (denied but still helped), back a million years ago found out why I never got invoiced, push emails to me that I never get . I mean they tend to help in my opinion . Most are willing to even open up my file and check all the rest of my documents but I tell them they are already good it's just this stupid ds260 which hopefully is about to open up for me tomorrow or Monday so they'll start hearing from me again to review that lol . When you get on the line with a real person just ask for a supervisor they'll take about less than a minute to see if one is available or not . Edited by Morganalmonshid94

they say not early Monday morning because supervisors have meetings then, I wait till a little before lunch anywhere from 9-12 their time and usually get one, I pay like 14 dollars for unlimited calling to the U.S. Through Skype so I'm able to call so much, plus the being in bed not working pregnant thing but sometimes they tell you one isn't available so you'll have to get lucky or try again .

yes I do what's wrong and I think that's what I am going do because the guy on the phone told me I could do that. And I am ep

I did it this way get that email sent don't bother waiting for them .
