After arrival in US, how long for green card and SSN to arrive?

~~moved to general immigration from ir1/cr1 process and procedures and topic covers a variety of visas and other like discussions are located here.~~

The SSN should take 2-3 weeks. Sometimes it doesn't arrive on it's own and you have to go get one from the SSA office.

Have you paid the immigrant fee?

The green card normally takes 1-3 months from POE or payment whichever is later.

Thank you! If I do have to go to the SSA office, what do I need to bring with me to get his SSN?

Yes, I've just paid the immigrant fee today. So, I should expect the physical green card in 1-3 months?

2) yes. You can keep track of your progress on the ELIS website
