Residence Inquiry for I-129f

Hi all,

me and my US fiance are now filing our I-129f and will be mailing it at the dallas lockbox this week. I just have one question. My fiance atm is staying with his parents's house. He has not rented his own apartment yet on his name. Would that risk us as a red flag in our application? I am aware that we need to reach the poverty guidelines for our petition to be approved. He earns 17K a year and his dad earns 35K a year. Theyre living in a five person household, 4 of them are adults.

Would it be wise to use his parents address for now, as we have not decided yet which city to live at the moment. Will this be a problem for them to approve the petition?

Please help.

Not a problem. My husband is in the military and gets moved around a lot so we used his Mom's address in California during the K1 process to make sure his mail doesn't get lost.

What should we put on question number 28 on where does your foreign fiance intent to live after arrival.

We are currently undecided right now to which city to get a house.

I say put his parents address. I did that but I live in North Carolina now.

To put his parents address definitely won't be a red flag because it will show the intent to live together, to introduce you to his parents, I tend to think that it cause more good than harm.

Another important thing is his income. You should check the poverty level of his state. See if 17K is enough, if not then you might need to ask his dad to fill in the affidavite of support for you, (you will need it for your interview.)

Because we can't really decide right now, perhaps we will get our house by the next three months.

you know "to be decided" sounds reeeeealy shady, As for me "to be decided" sounds like a red flag, You are not ppl of no fixed adobe, aren't you?
